Leveraging Artificial Intelligence Applications to Enhance Awareness of Sustainable Development Goals in Saudi Arabia: An Applied Study

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the role of artificial intelligence in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the framework of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The research explored several potential impacts of artificial intelligence on supporting sustainable development across its economic, social, and environmental dimensions, considering both the public and private sectors. A survey-based methodology was employed. The study concluded with several recommendations, including increasing investment in research and development related to the use of artificial intelligence to enhance public awareness of sustainable development, and strengthening collaboration among government entities, private-sector organizations, and civil society to promote the effective use of artificial intelligence in this domain.
