The Influence of Organizational Culture on Job Satisfaction and Its Impact on Employee Performance
Abstract
The performance of integrated service employees is influenced by various internal organizational factors, including organizational culture and job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effect of organizational culture on job satisfaction and employee performance, as well as the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between organizational culture and performance. A quantitative survey approach was employed in this study. The population consisted of 195 employees of integrated service units across subdistricts in Tangerang Regency, with 131 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on both job satisfaction and employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction significantly influences employee performance and partially mediates the relationship between organizational culture and performance. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening organizational culture to enhance employee satisfaction and improve service performance.
