Abstract

This study aimed to identify the philosophy of the Singapore's educational system and to explain the reasons for its success. The results revealed that Singapore's educational philosophy is linked to the pragmatic philosophy, which is based on educating a creative generation with self-expression freedom and is tied to the country's economic, cultural, and social conditions. It emphasizes that the individual is society's most important component. In light of the results, the researchers recommend undertaking more research into the philosophy of Singapore's educational system, disseminating the findings, and alerting the relevant authorities of Singaporean philosophy. This is to take steps toward implementing this philosophy in Jordan, as well as to perform an evaluation study of the educational system's philosophy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
