The Effectiveness of an Educational Program Based on (ChatGPT) in Acquiring English Grammar Among Tenth-Grade Female Students in the Directorate of Education of Wadi Al-Seer District
Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using an educational program based on ChatGPT in developing English grammar skills among tenth-grade female students in the Directorate of Education of Wadi Al-Seer during the academic year (2025/2026). To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers employed a quasi-experimental approach using a design that included both an experimental group and a control group. The study sample consisted of (50) female students from Aisha Bint Abi Bakr Mixed Basic School. They were randomly distributed into two equal groups: an experimental group that was taught using the ChatGPT-based educational program, and a control group that was taught using the traditional method. To collect the data, the study instruments were used after verifying their validity and reliability. These instruments included the ChatGPT-based educational program and an achievement test in English grammar administered before and after the implementation. The results revealed statistically significant differences in the students’ achievement test scores in favor of the experimental group in the skills of Modals, Relative Clauses, and Correction, while no statistically significant differences were found in the skill of Future Tenses. The study recommends that teachers employ educational programs based on ChatGPT to enhance the acquisition of English grammar.
